Water to protect the home
Generally, the water that comes into our home has a high content of unwanted minerals; it is hard water. We have solutions that remove these minerals, making the water coming into your home soft and purified. By doing this, you not only protect your pipes and appliances, prolonging their useful life, but you also improve the quality of the water you use.
Can you imagine enjoying a relaxing shower with no residue on your skin? Or washing your dishes and seeing everything rinse brilliantly without leaving stains? Plus, by reducing water hardness, you may also notice a decrease in the use of soaps and detergents, which means significant savings on your household purchases.

Filtration
Simple and economical solutions to various water problems: lime, chlorine and suspended particles.
In the water we can find different particles, components or impurities that can cause problems such as high levels of chlorine in the water, incrustations in pipes, presence of particles of soil or mud… Filtration is the process of dosing, adsorption or retention by means of a cartridge or porous filter. There are different filtration systems for every need.
Softeners
What is a water softener and why is it necessary in the home?
A water softener is a device that removes or reduces scale in water. Limescale (or hardness) in water can cause buildup in appliances and pipes, which reduces their efficiency and lifespan. A water softener helps to extend the life of these appliances and improve water quality in the home.
What kind of maintenance do water softeners require?
Resin softeners require salt to be added periodically, approximately every 1-2 months, depending on the model and water consumption. In addition, it is recommended to regularly check the salt level every 15 days or monthly depending on the consumption and the characteristics of the equipment.
It is also advisable to perform annual maintenance to ensure the good condition of the resin and the equipment, and to clean the resins at each salt load using the “Saniti’Soft” resin cleaner.
What is a shower filter and what are its benefits?
A shower filter is a device designed to filter shower water, removing or reducing contaminants such as chlorine, sediment and heavy metals, which greatly improves water quality. This is especially beneficial for people with sensitive skin or hair, as it helps reduce the dryness and irritation that chlorine can cause. In addition, by using better quality water, the filter allows you to reduce the consumption of gels, shampoos and softeners, as treated water makes these products more efficient and less of them are needed.

What is a filter for boilers and heaters?
These filters are designed to protect boilers, water heaters and other appliances that use hot water. They help prevent limescale build-up in these devices, which prevents breakdowns, improves their efficiency and prolongs their service life.

What is a filter for washing machines and dishwashers?
These filters are designed to reduce limescale build-up and improve dishwasher performance. It helps prevent stains on dishes, reduces detergent consumption and improves energy efficiency.
Furthermore, it reduces minerals and sediments that cause limescale build-up in the drum and pipes of the washing machine. This improves washing efficiency, reduces wear and tear on the machine and saves on detergents.

What are the differences between a water softener and specific household filters?
- Household filters: Specific filters (dishwasher, boiler, washing machine, shower, etc.) are designed to address specific problems in specific areas of use. Each has a unique purpose: to remove chlorine, sediment, heavy metals or scale in that particular area. For example, a shower filter reduces chlorine for a gentler showering experience on skin and hair, while a boiler filter protects against lime scale buildup in the heating system. These filters are installed at specific points and improve water quality where they are needed, without affecting the entire household water system.
- Water softener: Unlike filters, a water softener is usually installed at the water intake point of the home to treat all water entering the home. Its purpose is to reduce water hardness by removing minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which are responsible for limescale. This helps protect the entire household water system, including pipes and all appliances, improving their life and efficiency. It is especially useful in areas with hard water, where limescale causes build-up problems and decreased appliance performance.
Can I drink decalcified water?
Yes, softened water is safe to drink, but it is important to know that softened water is primarily used to protect pipes and appliances from limescale buildup. Although this water is not harmful, it may contain more sodium, so it is not always the best choice for daily consumption.
If the water treated by the water softener is potable, the softened water will also be potable. However, for optimum drinking water quality, it is best to install a reverse osmosis system. This system not only removes the minerals responsible for water hardness, but also removes other contaminants, ensuring superior quality.
Water purified by reverse osmosis is light, pure and free of impurities such as dirt, mud, sand and other suspended particles, resulting in a very weakly mineralized water, ideal for daily consumption.
