For optimal maintenance of your Reverse Osmosis equipment, Bbagua recommended to change the filters once a year and the membrane every 2 years approximately. The membrane removes undesirable organic and inorganic mineral salts from the water by 95% by means of a semipermeable membrane retaining any particles up to a size of 0.0001 micron.
Filters remove suspended solids, soil, mud and sand. In addition to chlorine, heavy materials, dioxins, pesticides and odors by absorption. The last filter has just removed chlorine, heavy metals, dioxins and odors by adsorption, protecting the membrane from small particles. Finally, the In-line Carbon Coco post-filter improves the taste of the water.
